Day 5 Sketch 5 — 100days 100sketches
I Have been pretty lazy in posting something new , but i tried many new things ! , i pen and inked a collection of leaves inspired by the sea creatures and i tried my hand with appearances in illustrator , but that’s another story… i will post those later i guess. For now i have another sketch for you this is a set of swatches which i created while playing with few circular shapes. 4 color options of this pattern are included.
The swatches file is in CS4 im not sure if it works with the previous versions so i have also included in the download eps file , browse to swatches panel after you open eps file .Below is a preview and the details of download.

Oh i always love a little exploration of self , i like it when you draw something and your mouth becomes watery with all the flavours of colors and when your new exploration bring something from inside and you feel lighter and brighter after creating it …. oh never mind i dont know what i am blabbering about but i really loved creating this swatches set as well as my experimental illustration see below
These are the colors i am feeling these days and these are the brights i am working with. So while being on this quest of yummy coloring i came up with this swatch set . [private]Creating Images for kids has always been fun for me , Recently i was involved in creating series of illustrations specifially for little boys related invites and such.
During this time i was looking for a good set of swatches which i can use right away to achieve my requirement but was unable to find any . So i thought i will share this pattern & swatches set with you just in case you are also looking for something similar.
This swatches set contains 12 color and pattern swatches espacially designed to create images , invites , backgrounds , patterns for baby boys i guess , but maybe you will find more use of them!

Although there are softwares available to create seamless patterns , i have come up with these tiled seamless patterns . Seamless patterns can be applied to any shape of your object and then you can scale them and adjust them as you please .which i discussed in one my previous posts as well . You can download these four seamless pattern swatches and note that after this i will be posting a set of 12 patterned borders. To load them simply open your swatches pallette and browse to the file. Unzip the File. for installing symbols click on the small arrow icon attached to your symbols pallett Select open symbol library browse to your file and open . Same way you can open brushes library.
